The Mini Khana in Hobart last Sunday saw the smallest member of the TMT team experience motorbike riding for the very first time.
(These few hours already have him eyeing off the GS bikes in the fleet 😂)

Here's the Premiers statement from the 12th of October:

"With our vaccination program proceeding well, we remain on track to be in a position to open our borders before Christmas, subject to achieving our goal that all eligible Tasmanians have had the opportunity to get vaccinated and importantly, reaching our vaccination targets of 90 per cent of over 16-year-olds fully vaccinated by 1 December, with 12-15 years olds to also be fully vaccinated around the same time.

Next week, I will also be in a position to release Tasmanian specific modelling around reopening, along with our plan to reopen our borders.

My expectation is that those who want to travel to Tasmania will need to be fully vaccinated and provide a negative test in the 72 hours before they arrive, with consideration being given to whether there is any testing regime upon arrival."

New Tour Dates COVID has certainly been a challeng

New Tour Dates
COVID has certainly been a challenge for everybody and we here in Tassie have been incredibly lucky, life to a large part has been reasonably normal. Far different to our mainland friends of Victoria and New South Wales who are going through countless lockdowns.
We have unfortunately had tours cancelled due to cancelled flights into Tassie, however, we are not giving up! We are remaining incredibly optimistic and have tour dates booked for the end of this year and early next year.
So, if you are craving adventure, or just dying to get out on a long ride, then we can help you out! Our first tour date is December 2nd to 7th. You’ll arrive in Tassie on the 1st of December and depart on the 8th or stay longer and explore more of this amazing state if you wish.
Early summer in Tassie is spectacular and the scenery will be no different as we wind our way through Tasmania’s ever-changing landscape. No two days are the same. Join Bruce as he twists through some of Tassie’s tarmac treasures and bush track gems while circumnavigating this magnificent state, with a group of like-minded motorcycle enthusiasts. Bruce will stop at many great landmarks and give you the rundown on some of the histories along the way. You’ll have plenty to tell friends and family about when you return home. You may even win yourself an award!
Come and get lost (in a metaphorical sense – we do know where we’re going!) and enjoy a guided tour around our magnificent island on one of our great bikes (or bring your own). Spots have already started filling up for this tour so contact us to make a booking now.

What crazy times we are currently dealing with! But you know what people? We are all actually dealing with it. I understand many people are hurting, and lots of small businesses (mine included) are doing their best to navigate a way forward through very uncertain waters. But I truely believe that if Australians support fellow Australians through this tough period we will all survive and hopefully prosper in the future.
As with all tourism based businesses, Tas Motorcycle Tours came to a screeching halt at the end of March. But we are in the process of revamping our 2020/2021 tour calendar and hope to have all our new tours on our website in the next week. And we will be hitting the ground running when the boom gate is finally lifted. We have filmed another 4 episodes with Ado Knox and 'Blokesworld' and hope to have those to air sometime mid year. And if you can watch those shows and not get all frothy about coming down here for a ride, well you mustn't have a pulse. Finally, our heartfelt thanks to our friends, followers and supporters for the influx of supportive message we have received. A kind word has so much power in tough times.
